Wednesdays 11.30am-1pm

Sawyers Church, Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood, CM15 9BN

Support is available on all aspects of breastfeeding and its impact on daily life – from starting to stopping and all the stages in between.  If you are expecting, have just had your baby or would like support as your baby grows older please join us.

In a relaxed, informal atmosphere you can:

  • Chat to other parents with babies at a similar age or at a similar stage in their pregnancy.
  • Get group or one-to-one support from trained volunteers.

At least one volunteer peer supporter, sometimes more will be present at every Breast Friends session. All of our peer supporters have breastfed themselves, live in the local community, and enjoy helping other parents through their breastfeeding experiences.  The peer supporters are here to listen to you, provide information and offer support.  We can also point you in the right direction if we are unable to assist.

It is free to attend Breast Friends groups. If you are unable to access the group we can organise a telephone or Zoom call, please email us on breastfriendsbrentwood@gmail.com. We can also organise an appointment with our Breastfeeding Counsellor if you require further support.

If you would like to speak to someone before you come ideally send us a message on our Breast Friends Brentwood Facebook or Instagram pages or by email at breastfriendsbrentwood@gmail.com  Please keep in mind that the group is run by volunteers and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Please see Instagram or Facebook for updates about sessions in school holiday weeks.
